Our story
From home brew to international silver
Over the past decade, craft beer fans from Sint Maarten came together as Caribbean Brewing Company to create a beer that truly represents the island. Because the brewery sits on the Dutch side, the long tradition of Dutch brewing merged naturally with the Caribbean's fruit.
Dutch Blonde was the result. Its breakthrough came in 2021, with silver at the London Beer Competition: the top-ranking Caribbean entry, and the first beer from the Dutch Caribbean to win an international prize.
Then came a landmark place to drink it: Dutch Blonde Beach Bar, in an iconic Dutch windmill on the Philipsburg Boardwalk.
